Job Title
Associate Director Health Economics – Modeling

Job Description
Lead end-to-end development, refinement, and adaptation of economic models including cost‑effectiveness, budget impact, and other economic models.
Perform in‑house “hands‑on” modeling while managing, quality‑assuring, and validating work performed by internal staff and external vendors.
Independently conceptualize economic models, plan modeling strategies, and identify appropriate data sources (clinical trials, HRQoL studies, costing studies, systematic reviews, indirect treatment comparisons, retrospective database analyses, prospective epidemiological studies).
Design and conduct post‑hoc analyses of clinical trial data to support model inputs such as survival, utilities, and costs, including analyses of clinical efficacy endpoints and health‑related quality of life data (e.g., EQ‑5D) and resource utilization.
Develop tools that capture local data for model adaptation and produce high‑quality, user‑friendly documentation (technical reports and presentation files) for end‑users.
Co‑lead with brand and functional leaders on country rollout and training of global models.
Prepare relevant sections of reimbursement submissions/dossiers and technical assessment documents.
Lead or prepare abstracts and conference presentations, and manuscripts for publication in peer‑reviewed journals.
Qualifications
A postgraduate qualification in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Economics/Commerce, Public Health, Health Administration, or Operations Research (preferred).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Health Economics or Outcomes Research, with at least 3 years in health economics modeling (required).
Advanced Excel and Visual Basic programming skills for modeling (required).
Advanced programming skills in R (required).
Strong quantitative skills and deep understanding of indirect treatment comparison methodology and statistical analysis of clinical trials and observational studies (preferred).
Knowledge of reimbursement requirements for key international markets and experience with reimbursement submissions to managed care or national authorities (preferred).
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proven collaboration and teamwork abilities within cross‑functional international teams.
Can travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Base pay plus an annual bonus based on target percent of pay and performance of the company and employee. Pay Range
US – Base pay range: $137,000 to $235,750 USD.
