Legal Advisor - M&A (European scope) - Brussels

As a Legal Advisor in M&A, your responsibilities are:
* Provide legal support on acquisitions, investments, and corporate finance transactions across Europe
* Manage the full transaction lifecycle: due diligence, drafting & negotiating term sheets and definitive agreements, closing & post-integration follow-up
* Prepare documentation for Executive Committee and Board meetings
* Contribute to strategic group financing and insurance-related investments
* Collaborate closely with the internal M&A team, corporate legal team, and external advisors
* Handle multiple transactions simultaneously with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset
Profiel
A successful Legal Advisor in M&A should have:
* Belgian Master's degree in Law
* Minimum 3 years of experience in M&A (law firm or international in-house environment)
* International exposure required
* Fluent in English (majority of contracts), Dutch is strongly preferred (team predominantly French-speaking)
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Analytical, solution-oriented, business-minded
* Autonomous yet collaborative
