We are Europe’s leading pooling company for plastic load carriers. Our service is to bring clean plastic returnable assets (pallets/foldable large containers/foldable crates) to our customers who send these assets all over Europe to their end customers. After every trip, these load carriers are being collected by us and brought to one of our European service centers where they are being prepared for a next trip. We manage hundreds of thousands of load carriers between more than 5,000 locations, mainly food related companies. Our Pan-European pooling service offers our B2B customers a sustainable and efficient solution throughout their whole supply chain



To strengthen our Asset Control-department within Tosca, we are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Asset Specialist!


For this role, we expect the new colleague to work from either our office in Schelle (Belgium) OR our Madrid office.

The chosen location will depend on what is most practical for the candidate.



Your responsibilities


Stock Audits and Stock Audit reconciliation

Manage the stock audit schedule for your region, ensuring all planned physical counts are scheduled, confirmed, and executed on time.

Execute and follow up on customer stock audits, ensuring timely validation and collaboration with customers (through Customer Service) to finalize results.

Ensure all audits are reconciled within a maximum of three months from initiation.

Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Sales to align audit progress, findings, and next steps.

Escalate unresolved cases to Roadblock meetings for higher-level decision-making.

Attend customer audit meetings when required

Support the reduction of asset losses by proactively identifying risks, escalating issues, and working with internal teams on corrective measures.


Reporting & Data Integrity

Maintain accurate asset data across Tosca’s systems, ensuring stock balances are properly recorded and reconciled.

Analyze asset flow trends to provide insights and recommendations for optimization.

Ensure compliance with contract agreements regarding loss invoicing.


Cross-functional Collaboration & Support

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Finance, Operations) to align on asset control strategies.

Support customer inquiries, together with Customer Service related to asset counts, stock movements, and discrepancies.

Assist in training stakeholders on asset management processes and best practices.

Contribute to process improvements, digitalization efforts, and automation initiatives within asset management.



Your profile

* 3+ years’ experience in asset control, inventory management or a similar operational role within supply chain/logistics.
* Advanced Excel (pivots, formulas, data analysis) and confidence working with asset declaration/tracking tools (CDI/EDI); exposure to BI/reporting (e.g., Tableau/Power BI) is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines; clear, professional communication and cross-functional collaboration
* You have excellent written and spoken English, Spanish & French skills. Knowledge of Dutch or another language is considered a plus.
* You work accurately, know how to set priorities, and remain focused even under tight deadlines.
* You are resilient, independent, and well organized.
* You communicate professionally and constructively with customers and colleagues.
* You are familiar with the MS Office package. Training and thorough onboarding are provided for our internal software.
* You are a true team player and bring a positive attitude to the workplace.
