Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the Product Owner Office, reporting to the Access VP of Engineering, you will act as the Product Owner for OneOS6, a Network OS designed for pCPE, uCPE, and vCPE. Your responsibilities will include the following:
* Understanding with the PLM (Product Line Manager) the Product Vision. Explain and communicate what is expected from the Product to R&D team and detail technical specifications if required.
* Understanding with R&D developers and architects the Technical Debt and integrate it in the Product Backlog and Roadmap.
* Defining and communicating with PLM and R&D Program Manager a Product roadmap based on Product objectives. POs and EPM (Engineering Project Manager) of dependent Products could be involved as well.
* Guaranteeing that the Product Backlog covers all stages of Product creation including design and development with all POs involved on the Product.
* Guaranteeing high level requirements are covered in the Product Backlog with all POs involved on the Product.
* Drawing scenarios with team and stakeholders when negotiations and trade-offs are necessary.
* Keeping team and stakeholders informed about the status of the Product.
* Assisting the Scrum Team to meet the objectives of each Sprint, working closely with them throughout the development process.
Profile and skills
To carry out the role of a Product Owner successfully, a candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Understanding of design quality standards
* Knowledge on the Market, Products and Technologies involved in the product
* Working knowledge of product architecture
* Understanding the minimum requirements that a product must meet to be fit for sale
* Knowledge on Scrum, Kanban, agile scale approaches and agile principles
* Knowledge of user-centered design principles
* Ability to work with large teams and international teams
* Ability to prioritize effectively and make decisions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Knowledge on Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, …)
