As a Project Cybersecurity Manager, you will drive cybersecurity for railway mainline projects under the supervision of Project and Regional Cybersecurity Managers. You'll be the primary interface for all security-related aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement a Project Cybersecurity Management Plan based on industry processes and regulations.
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and propose mitigation strategies tailored to project needs.
Specify and validate secure architectures and countermeasures, collaborating with the Engineering team.
Mentor engineers and guide them through implementing solutions and security tests.
Monitor and manage cybersecurity deliverables, including supplier oversight.
Coordinate with platform teams, customers, and auditors to ensure compliance and risk traceability.
Maintain alignment with project budgets, timelines, and technical milestones.
Support or conduct third-party audits and reviews when necessary.
Profile / Requirements :
Required :
MSc in Engineering (Electronics, IT, OT security) or equivalent experience.
3–5 years in OT/IT cybersecurity, ideally with industrial or railway exposure.
Solid understanding of communication protocols, operating systems, network architecture.
Proven experience in risk analysis, countermeasure specification, and security deployment.
Excellent analytical, budgeting, planning, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Desirable:
Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27k, IEC 62443).
Practical experience with network security hardware (firewalls, data diodes, PLCs).
Familiarity with Linux, cybersecurity standards, and coordination frameworks
Knowledge of TS 50701, IEC 62443, NIS directive, and experience in audits.
Experience in adjacent sectors (rail, energy, transport, defense) is a plus.
