Act as main local Finance contact for external and internal parties and the outsourced back-office Accounting Teams in Warsaw/Chennai, where the GL Manager, AR team, AP team, Cash Management and Fixed Assets teams are based for the Benelux Region. Control processes related to outsourced payroll and AP/Telco, plus provision of accounting, audit and tax compliance support to the Regional Accounting Manager for the Benelux and the Nordics. Main Responsibilities: Ensure tax compliance (VAT and corporate income taxes, withholding tax, Intrastat, etc.). Management of outsourced payroll providers. Performing payroll controls together with HR, and preparation of payroll journals for GL. Daily work with back-office staff based in Chennai/Warsaw (GL Manager, Cash, AP mainly). Support statutory audits (preparation and fieldwork phase, liaising directly with auditors and reporting progress to the Regional Accounting Manager). Preparation and or review of Local Financial statements for the Benelux entities (3). Primary point of contact for payroll-related queries. Preparation and documentation of monthly Internal controls. Support review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and necessary follow-up, as well as preparation of certain balance sheet reconciliations Ensure compliance with local reporting regulations. Direct report to the Regional Accounting Manager for the Benelux and the Nordics. Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting in a multinational environment preferably with exposure to CIT, VAT, and Intrastat and payroll outsourcing. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to prioritize, negotiate, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. Effective English communication skills at all organizational levels. Language skills: Dutch is a must French skills are a plus. Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency. Strong organizational skills. Team player with the ability to work independently.
