Explore your role with us The Televic bid team is responsible for answering our international customers' project requests with high-quality technical and commercial offers, thereby overseeing the entire process from the initial contact to signing of the contract.
Upon identification of a new opportunity, the bid team :
Builds an understanding of the customer requirements, based on the evaluation of technical customer documentation and customer interactions.

Identifies and assesses risks and opportunities.

Responds to the customer request by proposing the right solution (hardware and software, architectures, services, ...) at the right price point.

Represents Televic to the customer by presenting and discussing the solutions with our customers.

The bid team is the Solution Owner for the full proposal, thereby acting as the central point of contact to collaborate with colleagues in sales, product management, R&D and project management to refine proposals and strategies where needed.
Your responsibilities As head of bid management, you are leading and coaching the Belgian and North American team of bid managers, supported by a Backoffice position.
You ensure the team is motivated and enabled to timely deliver high quality proposals to our customers.

You coach the team to resolve challenges faced during the bids.

You lead by example, participating more closely in bids that require particular attention.

You become a person of trust, externally towards our customers, and internally towards the various stakeholders in the company.

You are driving improvement projects in order to further improve and optimize our global bidding process, in collaboration with the head of bid management for the DACH market.

You make sure that bid, sales and management have a clear overview of the active opportunities so decisions over priority and strategical approach can be taken.

How you can add value to our team You hold a Master's degree in engineering with a focus on software or electronics (or have equivalent experience).

You can demonstrate relevant professional experience, e.g., as a bid manager, as a software or hardware engineer, or project manager within a technical industry. Experience in leading a team is a plus.

Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – help you engage with different teams and customers effectively.

You know how to manage complexity, set priorities and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.

You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and any additional languages are a plus.

You are willing to travel up to 15% of your time.
