As our new Quality Engineer, you will be the guardian of excellence within a rapidly growing scale-up, ensuring our world-leading motion control solutions meet the highest standards. You will bridge the gap between production and customer satisfaction by leading 8D investigations and optimizing supplier quality. From validating advanced mechanical and electronic measurement systems systems to supporting ISO 9001 audits, your analytical approach will directly impact our continuous improvement journey. You are the vital link that ensures our smallest motors deliver the biggest results.
Your Role as Quality Engineer
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our high-tech products and processes. Working within our dedicated Quality team, you will take ownership of both internal and supplier-related quality standards. Your day-to-day involves a mix of hands-on technical validation and structured problem-solving to prevent recurring issues. By reviewing product developments and inspection plans, you ensure every component leaving our Leuven facility is world-class.
To achieve this, you will focus on the following core responsibilities:
* Customer & Supplier Excellence: Lead the handling of customer complaints and perform supplier audits to ensure high-standard compliance.
* Quality Management Systems: Support and maintain our ISO 9001 standards and lead structured 8D investigations.
* Technical Validation: Implement, validate, and document new inspection systems and advanced Gage R&R test methods.
* Operational Support: Act as the second-line expert for QC and Production teams regarding inspection equipment and control plans.
* Compliance & Review: Perform documentation reviews and ensure strict adherence to internal quality procedures and standards.

What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for an analytical thinker who can approach complex problems with a structured mindset to find lasting solutions. You should be detail-oriented and accurate, ensuring that every report and documentation review meets our high-quality benchmarks. Your profile should also include the following essential qualifications:
* Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience, preferably within a production environment.
* Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of mechanical and electronic measurement systems and test method validation (e.g., Gage R&R).
* Quality Toolkit: Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean, and FMEA.
* Compliance Knowledge: Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, GDP, or GMP standards.
* Communication: Strong reporting skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a technical setting.
