How you create impact Translating Supply Chain requirements from internal (Business Unit/Operations) and external (KN's Customers) clients into efficient transportation solutions; Collecting and analyzing logistics data through questionnaires, interviews, data dumps from logistics systems, observations, and sampling on the work floor; Gathering and analyzing external transport market data; Performing carrier sourcing activities and tenders, including e-actions, reverse auctions, supplier summits, etc; Drafting contract agreements, SOPs, and SLAs in collaboration with BU, Legal, and Operations; Developing presentations and quotes; creating clear and concise presentations for management to highlight the feasibility of various scenarios; Analyzing existing operational processes and identifying opportunities for optimization; Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with incumbent and potential carriers through KPIs, MBRs, QBRs, etc. What we would like you to bring A completed HBO / University education; More than 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Logistics Engineer/ Carrier Manager/Transport Procurement Function in the logistics industry. Proficiency with calculation programs and handling large data files; Proficient in Excel; Knowledge of Power Bi, Tableau, TMS systems, FA&P systems and tender platforms (Ariba, TI Contract) is desirable; Strong analytical skills; able to analyze complex logistics or transport issues and identify underlying cost drivers; Commercially oriented and highly communicative/persuasive: Carrier negotiation or supplier management experience; Experience in the Benelux transport market; Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate others. Enterpreneurial mindset; proactive and hands-on; Stress-resistant Self-Starter, able to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously; Good verbal and written knowledge of English.
