The Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support and optimise utility systems within a clean, controlled environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of critical installations such as HVAC and other site utilities.
Working closely with operations and engineering teams, you will drive continuous improvement, enhance maintenance strategies, and ensure minimal disruption to production and facility performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse maintenance and reliability data (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to identify improvement opportunities
* Develop and optimise maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, RCM)
* Ensure continuity, quality, and compliance of maintenance processes
* Drive performance improvements across utility systems (HVAC, water, compressed air, steam, power, sprinklers)
* Define and manage critical spare parts lists
* Support and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following equipment failures
* Own and execute Management of Change (MOC) processes
* Act as technical point of contact for system modifications and upgrades
* Support tendering and supplier selection for maintenance services
* Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and documentation
* Collaborate with operational teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Energy Technology, or similar
* Experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial or regulated environment
* Strong knowledge of utility systems, including HVAC, water, compressed air, steam, and electrical systems
* Experience with RCM, RCA, and maintenance performance management
* Analytical, structured, and results-oriented xphnsxz mindset
* Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Languages
* Fluent in Dutch (shopfloor communication)
* Good command of English (reporting and international collaboration)
