Build the growth engine behind Rubio Monocoat's next phase of growthAt Rubio Monocoat, we are looking for a Head of Customer Development Europe B2B to build and lead a scalable customer development function across Europe.This is not a traditional sales management role.You will build the systems, processes and team that convert prospects into customers and customers into larger customers.Working closely with Marketing, Sales and local market teams, you will shape how customer development is organised across Europe.What you will actually do1. Build the systemBuild the lead-management process end-to-end: from first campaign-generated lead through marketing qualification, sales qualification, contact & nurturing, conversion and handoff.Stand up the CRM stack from the ground up: lead scoring, automated data enrichment, routing rules and dashboards.Define qualification processes and ways of working together with local sales teams across Europe.2. Build the inside teamHire and/or coach regional Customer Development Specialists and a CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist.These are inside representatives. They work through phone, email, webshop and customer portals.Their pipeline lives in CRM.You coach them on qualification quality, outreach effectiveness, conversion rates and overall performance.3. Run the two growth motionsCustomer AcquisitionConvert inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns into customers through phone, email, webshop and portal engagement.Ensure larger or more strategic opportunities are handed over to local sales teams according to clearly defined rules.Customer GrowthSystematically develop our existing professional customer base through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.Work closely with local sales teams where account ownership requires personal follow-up.4. Build the architect engagement engineArchitects and specifiers play an important role in influencing future projects.You create the segmentation, engagement and nurturing programmes that keep them connected to Rubio Monocoat and generate long-term commercial opportunities.Project-level relationships remain with local sales teams.Your role is to create the system that drives awareness, engagement and demand.5. Make growth measurableYou create visibility across the entire customer development funnel.You define the right KPIs, dashboards and reporting structures to monitor performance, identify opportunities and continuously improve results.You manage growth through facts, data and clear processes.Who are you?You have built or led an Inside Sales, SDR or Customer Development function before.You have implemented CRM-driven growth processes, lead scoring and qualification frameworks.You think in funnels, conversion rates and customer journeys.You are comfortable with CRM, marketing automation and AI-supported commercial tools.You enjoy building teams and scalable processes.You can align Marketing, Country Managers and Local Sales teams through influence rather than hierarchy.What you bring8+ years of experience in commercial, customer development or growth-related roles.Experience leading teams.Strong analytical mindset.Fluent in English.Willingness to travel across Europe.Why Rubio Monocoat?Build a new commercial capability from the ground up.Direct impact on growth across Europe.Freedom to take initiative and make decisions.Work for a trusted international brand active in more than 80 countries.Competitive salary and benefits package.About Rubio MonocoatDriven by a passion for wood and innovation, Rubio Monocoat has become a global reference in wood protection.
