Nitto Belgium was established in 1974 in Genk and is the largest production site in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa) of the Japanese Nitto Group. With more than 500 employees, we develop and produce sealing materials and various industrial adhesive tapes such as double-sided tapes and surface protection tapes for industries including automotive, semiconductor, furniture, paper production, aerospace, and metal processing.
Our Position
At Nitto Belgium, the Technical Buyer supports the production departments and other internal stakeholders with the purchasing and negotiation of assets, investments, and consultancy services. Your focus will be on securing the best commercial terms and conditions in these contracts.
Responsibilities:
1. Negotiate with suppliers on prices, conditions, and warranties
2. Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers
3. Support and challenge internal stakeholders to prepare strong and complete purchase files
4. Collect and analyze relevant data for our Material & Supplier Qualification (MSQ) process
5. Contribute to audits and ensure compliance with required quality standards
Your Profile
A strong technical buyer will recognize themselves in the following:
6. Several years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
7. Strong communication skills with a commercial mindset
8. Strong analytical skills
9. A proactive attitude and a drive for continuous improvement
10. Fluent in Dutch and English
