We are seeking a motivated Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In this role, you will lead and manage BESS projects across different CE countries from planning and design through feasibility and technical/economic due diligence, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. The ideal candidate will have solid project management experience, strong technical knowledge of BESS, and excellent communication and leadership skills. More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to cover the following topics: Feasibility Analysis and Business Case: Conduct comprehensive feasibility analysis, including technical evaluations and financial assessments. Develop detailed business cases for BESS projects, presenting the rationale, benefits, and financial justification to stakeholders. Project Leadership and Management: Lead and manage BESS projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure proactive and consistent follow-up with all relevant stakeholders (advisors, EPC companies…) Construction and Commissioning: Supervise the construction and installation of BESS, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Coordinate the commissioning process, including system testing and performance verification. Ensure timely and efficient handover of completed projects to operations teams. Do you recognize yourself? 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy storage or renewable energy sector. Proven track record of successfully delivering BESS projects is a plus. Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Technical and financial/commercial expertise in BESS and energy storage systems. Good knowledge in the different revenue streams for BESS, both behind the meter and in front of the meter.
