SAP EWM Consultant
Location: Flanders Belgium | Supply Chain / Logistics IT
Your Role
Our organization is highly focused on the automation of warehouse and logistics processes. The Warehouse Management System (WMS) plays a crucial role in our advanced production environments and distribution centers. Technologies such as automated guided vehicles (AGVs), automated storage systems, high-bay warehouses, and conveyor systems are already integrated into our operations.
We are looking for a motivated SAP EWM Consultant to strengthen our Warehouse Management team. In this role, you will work on innovative projects involving warehouse automation and logistics optimization, including integrations with robotics, AGVs, and automated storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a project lead for SAP EWM implementation projects and contribute to various warehouse management initiatives.
* Work on projects covering the entire logistics flow, including the supply, storage, and distribution of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.
* Manage the full project lifecycle, including:
o Business process analysis
o Solution design
o System configuration
o Testing
o Training key users
o Go-live support
* Coordinate development, implementation, and post-implementation support activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues on multiple warehouse management projects, providing support to other project leaders and receiving support on your own initiatives when needed.
Your Profile
* Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Applied Economics, Commercial Sciences, or equivalent experience.
* Proven project experience with SAP EWM, ideally including full lifecycle implementations.
* Ability to manage projects independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a hands-on mindset.
* Interest in staying up to date with new developments and innovations in logistics and warehouse technology.
* Flexible and adaptable working style.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
* Fluent in Dutch and English
* Willingness to travel occasionally when required.
