With headquarters in the center of Brussels, they are strengthening their internal Corporate IT Operations to support a growing international workforce. The RoleThe Corporate IT Operations Manager leads a distributed team of six IT support engineers located across Europe and North America. The role focuses heavily on people leadership, operational structure, and continuous improvement. The manager will refine processes, establish KPIs, enhance or redesign ITIL practices, and elevate team performance. Approximately 15% of the role includes hands-on technical work to ensure on-site support in Brussels when required. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership· Define objectives, roles, and priorities for the IT Operations team.· Remove operational blockers and support decision-making.· Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and development planning.· Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and high-quality problem solving.· Balance operational workload with project commitments. Operational Management· Oversee reliable delivery of internal IT services across multiple offices.· Implement and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics.· Develop and maintain the IT Operations roadmap.· Strengthen or redesign ITIL processes including incident, change, and knowledge management.· Maintain clear documentation and operational procedures. Technical and Architectural Oversight· Define and evolve IT Operations services and architecture.· Ensure systems remain secure, resilient, and up to date.· Support continuity planning, including backup and disaster recovery.· Remain informed on emerging technologies and propose improvements.· Perform limited hands-on technical support when on-site presence in Brussels is required. Stakeholder and Vendor Management· Align IT operations with business priorities through close stakeholder engagement.· Communicate progress, risks, and timelines to leadership.· Manage vendors, evaluate solutions, and negotiate agreements.· Ensure adherence to internal security standards and external requirements. Profile Requirements· Minimum 3-5 years of IT management experience, ideally across multiple locations.· Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.· Technical background with Microsoft Azure tools (Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, Identity, Teams, O365).· Experience with ITIL, Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence.· Ability to work on-site in Brussels nearly full time.· Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset.· Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
