Job Description:
As a Project Manager Officer, you will be responsible for supporting our client within the financial sector. Your role will involve acting as a central repository for programme and release information, providing intelligent reporting to support departmental, divisional objectives, and IT objectives.
You will assist in project planning, reporting, and monitoring, including day-to-day specific and ad-hoc support. Additionally, you will help with the provision of strategic support in areas such as portfolio preparation, budget monitoring, demand capacity analysis, and steering committee preparations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing analysis and monitoring services to a large organisation
* Collating data on progress measures, with a focus on financial progress versus forecasts
* Presenting conclusions to IT roadmap managers
* Recommending corrective action where necessary
Your Profile:
We are looking for a candidate with a good understanding of project life cycles (Agile and Waterfall methodology) and governance. You should also have good written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to handle tasks independently.
In addition, we require strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, as well as good knowledge of project tools and office software (Excel, PowerBI, etc.).
