About the Role
We are seeking a Power BI Consultant to join our client's dynamic project team in Brussels for a 12-month freelance engagement. This is a unique opportunity to drive the renewal and transformation of critical reporting and dashboard solutions, directly impacting data-driven decision-making at scale. What You'll Be Doing
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary project team to redesign and enhance a suite of Power BI reports and dashboards
* Developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust data models and visualizations using Power BI
* Leveraging DAX and Power Query to deliver high-performance, scalable analytics solutions
* Integrating Python scripts to extend data processing and automation capabilities
* Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security throughout the reporting lifecycle
* Translating business requirements into actionable, impactful BI solutions
* Championing best practices in data visualization and user experience
* Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
What We're Looking For
* Proven expertise as a Data Base Developer, with a strong track record in Power BI projects
* Ownership mindset: you take initiative, drive outcomes, and deliver impact
* Problem-solving orientation: you thrive on tackling complex data challenges
* Ability to work on-site in Brussels (no remote option)
* Commitment to quality, innovation, and collaboration
Technical Skills
* Power BI – Expert level
* DAX – Confirmed proficiency
* Power Query – Confirmed proficiency
* Python – Confirmed proficiency
Language Proficiency
* Dutch – Active knowledge required
* English – Active knowledge required
Other Requirements
* Freelance position – 12 months, full-time, on-site in Brussels
* Engagement subject to public procurement law
* Fast payment available according to contract terms
