This role requires juggling human resources, budgets, technologies, and processes to meet strategic objectives. /p pbr /As a true strategist, the Operations Manager identifies areas for improvement and implements innovative solutions. The Operations Manager is fully responsible for the optimal performance of the team, working conditions, atmosphere, and overall results. /p pbr /The role also carries policy-making responsibilities, including the development and implementation of new methods and techniques within the organization. The Operations Manager creates and executes (annual) plans and is accountable for delivering results, often facing abstract challenges—such as anticipating trends or developments that could impact departmental processes. /p pbr /The Operations Manager ensures the quality and efficiency of operational processes and oversees the systems and tools used. Responsibilities include task allocation, quality control, and conducting performance and assessment reviews. He or she makes independent decisions regarding HR matters such as recruitment, compensation, employee development and training. /p pbr /This role is essential in driving operational excellence and maintaining the company’s competitiveness.br / /p pbWhat you'll do /b /p liAdvise and support the LTS Director in developing strategies for transformation, adaptation and change management /li liDesign and lead change processes (human, technological, financial, IT, quality, safety, etc.) aligned with the expected goals /li liPlan and monitor activities in accordance with SLA’s and company agreements /li liManage departmental finances (costs, budgets, recharges) /li liEnsure process quality and compliance with certifications, legislation, and internal standards /li liSource external expertise when necessary /li liMaintain in-depth knowledge of tools, systems, and applications used in operations /li liDeliver services on a customized, standardized or project basis /li liContinuously optimize processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality /li liLead, inspire and develop a team of 5 to10 engineers and logistics agents /li liCollaborate with departments such as Inside Sales, Purchasing and Technology Enablement during sales or contract implementations /li liDeliver clear and insightful management reports /li liYou will be reporting directly to the Logistics Technical Services Director br / /li pbWhat you'll need /b /p liMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar operations or logistics management role /li liBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Production or a related field /li liKnowledge of agile and lean methodologies (e.G. 5S, Six Sigma) is highly desirable /li liProficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite /li liSkilled in data analysis, reporting, and budget management /li liProven ability in process optimization and managing IT tools and systems used in operational environments /li liDemonstrated leadership experience: capable of guiding, motivating, and developing a team of engineers and logistics agents (5–10 people) /li liStrong interpersonal and communication skills : able to collaborate effectively across departments (Sales, Purchasing, Technology Enablement, etc.) /li liCustomer- and service-oriented mindset with a drive for excellence /li liProblem-solving ability: proactive, analytical thinker who can act decisively /li liAdaptable and resilient in the face of change and complexity /li liStrong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently /li liFluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus) /li liValid Driving License (Category B) /li pAn assessment may be part of the selection procedure /p
