Job Description
As a solution architect, you are responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex software solutions. You work with various stakeholders, including developers, Product owners, delivery leads, business users, and organizational leadership to identify project requirements and constraints. You develop, document, and align comprehensive plans to achieve desired outcomes.
You ensure that the architecture is scalable, maintainable, extensible, secure, and aligned with business needs. You also provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
We seek a candidate with an independent, proactive, and structured working attitude, acting as a trusted decision partner for leadership and IT teams. You understand the balancing act involved in making long-term solution choices considering desirability, feasibility, costs, sustainability, maintainability, extendibility, and consistency, and you lead this process.
What tasks can you expect?
* Design and implement complex software systems that meet business needs
* Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure systems meet requirements
* Work in Lead to Cash programs involving SAP S/4, SAP CPQ, Salesforce, Kimble/Kantata, etc.
* Ensure systems are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable
* Develop technical specifications and design documents
* Establish and maintain an architectural repository for design information
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams to foster autonomy
* Manage and monitor your workload, define scope, and set clear expectations with stakeholders
Profile
As a solution architect, you are responsible for designing and overseeing complex software solutions, working with various stakeholders to develop and execute plans that meet project goals. You ensure architectural quality, provide technical guidance, and lead teams effectively.
What do you have to offer?
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience in software engineering and architecture, with broad knowledge of IT technologies and application integration
* Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing Finance solutions
* Solution architecture experience is a strong plus
* Knowledge of financial business processes and systems (e.g., accounting, controlling, billing, invoicing)
* Technical knowledge of SAP S/4, SAP CPQ, Salesforce, or Kimble/Kantata
* Analytical thinking and strong communication skills
* Ability to distinguish between problem space and solution domain, guiding peers and stakeholders
* Adaptability to changing technologies and requirements
* Fluent English; willingness to work in an international environment with occasional travel
* Knowledge of internal business processes and data governance is a plus
