Senior Risk & Change Manager
Overview
The Senior Risk & Change Manager will work within multidisciplinary teams to oversee risk and change management processes on complex projects. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the management and tracking of Early Warning Notifications (EWNs), risk registers, and change management processes.
* Organise and lead risk, change, and EWN review meetings with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
* Escalate submissions that exceed agreed thresholds or triggers.
* Manage communication related to change orders, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed and required actions are taken.
* Maintain comprehensive databases for project risks and changes, ensuring accurate and clear documentation.
* Collaborate with risk owners to develop realistic risk impact assessments, ensuring mitigation efforts are accurately costed and scheduled.
* Prepare regular reports on the status of risks and changes for inclusion in project updates.
* Ensure all supporting documentation required for change approvals is complete and available.
* Monitor and report on project contingency budgets versus actual spend, maintaining logs to demonstrate drawdown of contingency funds.
Skills and Experience
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, with strong experience in risk and change management.
* Experience managing risk and change on large-scale, complex projects.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance detail-oriented and big-picture perspectives.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
