Role Purpose
As a Junior Carrier Manager, you are the link between our commercial and operational teams. You support the development and management of our European network of carriers and ensure optimal collaboration with subcontractors. Thanks to your efforts, we guarantee capacity, quality, and sustainable partnerships.

Responsibilities
* Ensure that our 370 trucks, including 200 external subcontractors, are deployed efficiently and according to schedule;
* Anticipate fluctuations in supply and demand and actively seek suitable carriers to guarantee continuity;
* Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, complaints, and damages, identify trends, and take targeted actions to improve service quality;
* Act as the point of contact for issues and provide quick, effective solutions to minimize impact on customers and operations;
* Engage actively with subcontractors to achieve competitive rates and sustainable collaborations;
* Maintain close relationships with partners and promote our organization at relevant events both domestically and internationally;
* Ensure smooth integration and compliance with all processes and quality standards;
* From contract management to damage recovery and reporting – you keep everything organized and compliant;
* Contribute to ECO objectives with the team and think about intermodal transport solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics or equivalent through experience;
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the transport industry as a forwarder, transport planner, or in a sales department;
* Proficiency in Romanian or Bulgarian, as well as English and Dutch, as these are required to communicate with our international partners; German is a nice plus;
* Willingness to travel (Duisburg, Poznan: max. 1 week per month);
* Comfortable negotiating at various levels and easily building strong relationships with carriers and partners;
* Strong administrative and digital skills to manage data and contracts accurately, with Excel as your right hand;
* Analytical and solution-oriented, identifying improvement points and optimizing processes.
