About our role
Our client is looking for a Service Designer - Native NL with strong strategic and hands-on service design experience.
You will work on complex service ecosystems, translating user needs, stakeholder expectations, business goals, processes and organisational constraints into clear service opportunities and tangible outcomes.
The role requires someone who can structure the service design approach, facilitate strategic co-creation, and deliver core artefacts such as personas, scenarios, customer journeys, service blueprints and workshops.
What you will be doing
Apply a structured service design methodology, from research and pain points to service opportunities and solution framing.
Design and model services at ecosystem level, including stakeholders, processes, journeys, touchpoints and organisational complexity.
Create tangible service design deliverables such as personas, scenarios, customer journeys, service blueprints and workshop outputs.
Facilitate strategic workshops and co-creation sessions with clients, end users, business stakeholders, IT and delivery teams.
Analyse user needs, client expectations and complex datasets to generate actionable service insights.
Translate insights into clear concepts, prototypes and validated solutions.
Ensure consistency across service touchpoints, applying UX best practices and accessibility standards where relevant.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to support implementation.
Contribute to continuous improvement through testing, KPIs and data analysis.
What you bring
Strong hands-on experience as a strategic Service Designer.
Ability to think beyond UX execution and work at the level of services, processes, stakeholders and organisational complexity.
Proven experience delivering personas, scenarios, customer journeys, service blueprints and workshop outputs.
Strong command of a structured service design methodology.
Excellent workshop facilitation and co-creation skills with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Experience in complex environments, ideally public sector.
Ability to integrate quickly into an experienced team without foundational coaching.
Experience with requirements analysis, agile delivery and collaboration with IT/development teams.
Accessibility expertise is a strong asset, but not the core focus of the role.
