Futerro is a leading Belgian company in the lactic acid and polylactic acid (PLA) sector, a bio-based, industrially compostable and recyclable biopolymer capable of replacing fossil-based plastics in everyday life. A pioneer in research since 1992, the company officially launched in 2007, with the construction of its first pilot lactic acid polymerisation unit in Belgium, followed by the opening of its PLA industrial production unit in China in 2021. Futerro now plans to set up a new biorefinery in France by maximum 2029. The company is the only one in the world to have complete control over the entire PLA production chain: fermentation of sugar into lactic acid, polymerisation into PLA and end-of- life management via its patented mechanical and chemical recycling technology. Missions
Support in:
* Written content creation : drafting LinkedIn posts, articles, brochures, video scripts, and other corporate communication materials.
* Visual content creation : designing visuals for social media, brochures, and print/digital materials in line with brand guidelines.
* Content production : taking photos and editing short videos for internal and external communication.
* Monitoring and benchmarking : tracking market and communication trends, analyzing industry best practices, and suggesting creative improvements.
* Corporate communication support : contributing to press relations, CSR initiatives, and broader communication projects.
* Website management assistance : supporting SEO improvements, optimizing webpages, and contributing to overall website performance.
Profile
* Student preparing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, graphic design, or an equivalent field.
* Fluent English is required (working language).
* Excellent writing and spelling skills in both French and English.
* Creativity, attention to detail, autonomy, and a proactive attitude.
* Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
* Previous professional experience in a similar role is an asset.
Scope
The intern will be supported by the Marketing Manager and the Public Affairs & Corporate Communications Assistant and will be able to discover and contribute to the marketing & communication activities of a company active in industrial biotechnology.

We are offering this internship opportunity in Brussels (Anderlecht) for 4-6 months. This is an unpaid position.
