Barco Labs - AVoIP & Connectivity group
At Barco, the Barco Labs group is responsible for the research and development of new technologies that can be used in future generations of Barco products. More specifically, you will join the AVoIP & Connectivity group within Barco Labs, which is a multi-disciplinary team with skills spanning several domains: From software development, high performance audio/video rendering, efficient audio-visual AI inference on various hardware platforms, up to game engine technology and robotics.
The task at hand
You will work in the field of Agentic AI. The goal is integrate agentic concepts in an existing Barco product. This work includes researching technology, designing and implementing software components and validating the solution through demos.
This internship offers hands-on experience with modern AI concepts and software engineering practices in a real-world context.
Qualifications
Eligible to work at our HQ in Kortrijk, Belgium
Ability to commit to working at Barco for at least 3 months
Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong programming skills in Python
Familiarity with software architecture principles and API integration
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Plus Skills
Knowledge of Docker, Git, and Linux environments
Experience with Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API, or similar)
Interest in agent-based systems and automation
