Akkodis is seeking an IS/IT Asset Manager to support one of its clients in strengthening the management and governance of its IT assets. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets and ensure that all information, compliance requirements, and processes related to these assets are properly managed. Your mission will contribute to cost efficiency, operational reliability, and adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the lifecycle management of all IS/IT assets—from procurement to deployment, maintenance, renewal, and retirement.
* Maintain a reliable and up‐to‐date inventory of the company's hardware and software estate.
* Implement and oversee software license‐management practices to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
* Monitor asset usage, costs, and consumption trends to support optimization and budget efficiency.
* Work closely with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security teams to align processes and ensure consistent application of governance rules.
* Deliver regular reports and insights on asset utilization, compliance levels, and potential risks.
* Coordinate internal and external audits related to IT asset management and ensure audit readiness.
* Contribute to the evolution and continuous improvement of asset‐management processes and tools.
* Raise awareness among employees and provide guidance on best practices for managing IT assets.
Required Skills
* Strong understanding of ITIL practices, especially IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
* Hands‐on experience with asset‐management platforms (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Flexera, Lansweeper).
* Solid understanding of common licensing models (e.g., Microsoft ecosystems).
* Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with strong reporting skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, supporting effective collaboration across teams.
* High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and compliance.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Education & Experience
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
* Professional proficiency in English.
