We ARE looking for a Client Representative for one of our client, an energy transmission system operator in Belgium. As a Client Rep you will be acting as the company’s eyes and ears in the field in addition to the regular reporting by Contractors. Our client has and will have CR in cable manufacturing factories, on site and offshore during pre-installation campaigns on- and offshore. You will be responsible for managing, coordinating and supporting all Client Representatives working on the AC Cable Package. Tasks & Responsibilities: Primary point of contact for both Client Representative and their agencies; Contribute to sourcing and selection of Client Representatives, including preparation of role descriptions; Onboarding and introduction of new CR to the project; Arrangement and follow-up of practicalities for CR, such as travels, contact, scheduling updates, PPE, etc.; Follow-up of Notification Of Inspections towards the AC Cable Contractors; Facilitate documentation flow to and from the Client Representatives (technical documentation, planning files, Notification Of Inspections, reporting templates, etc.); Organize regular coordination/follow-up meetings between CR and the relevant expertise within the Project team; Review and improve where needed the CR’s reports, in collaboration with the relevant Project’s discipline; Review timesheets to ensure full compliance with contractual requirements; The scope includes: Design, engineering, testing and manufacturing of the three-core offshore cables; Engineering and execution of the offshore cable installation campaigns – laying, burial, pull-ins, on- and offshore jointing – including preparation activities such as Out Of Service (OOS) cable removal, boulder removal, Contractor seabed survey, dredging, pre-sweeping, PLGR. You will join a motivated project team of approx. 10 colleagues. Requirements / Your Profile: Experience managing or coordinating Client Representatives, site supervisors, field inspectors or similar roles; Basic knowledge of offshore construction or marine operations, preferably with cable installation, trenching/burial, seabed surveys, boulder removal, PLGR, dredging or similar activities; Good understanding of submarine power cable manufacturing processes, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Type Tests, Routine Tests and Quality Control in cable factories; Previous offshore experience is considered a strong asset. Minimum 3 years of experience in offshore infrastructure or large infrastructure projects. A true team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and resilience under pressure. Proactive, eager to learn, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial. Proficient in MS Office. Good level of Dutch and/or French and English is required.
