We are currently recruiting a Quotation Specialist for one of our clients, a law firm with offices accoss the globe. The Quotation Specialist will help prepare pricing proposals for client RFPs and support key initiatives, including rate negotiations, fee and budget development, client communication, and pricing best practices. The role can be up to 100% remote, yet the candidate has to be based in either Brussels or London. - Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders—including lawyers and staff—to develop responses to client raquests for pricing and informal pricing requests, such as budgets, rate proposals, and alternative fee arrangements. Provide strategic guidance and create pricing solutions that support the Firm's profitability objectives while meeting client business needs. - Draft, refine, and enhance written pricing proposal content that is professional, clear, and compelling. - Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure effective collaboration with various internal teams, including Business Development, Client Agreements, Matter Maintenance, and Billing. - Contribute to the Firm's strategic pricing initiatives through financial modeling and data analysis, including identifying, extracting, and summarizing information from multiple sources for diverse stakeholders. Use data to help guide informed business decisions across the Firm. - Partner with key stakeholders to develop profitable pricing solutions and act as a liaison to the Firm's Business Committee. - Provide outstanding customer service in response to lawyer and client inquiries. - Work collaboratively with other members of the team to broaden your knowledge and share expertise across the group. - Engage in professional development opportunities, including training with senior team members, participating in analyst presentations, and leveraging online learning resources. - Bachelor's degree (preferred) in accounting, finance, economics, or a related business discipline. - Relevant professional experience, ideally including financial analysis. - Strong ability to work with data, analyze it effectively, and present insights to team leadership and lawyers in a clear and concise manner. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with SQL is an advantage. - Solid understanding of financial modeling in Microsoft Excel. - Proactive approach with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines. - Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective communication skills supported by confidence and professionalism. - Self-motivated with a positive, professional, and client-focused mindset. - Open-minded critical thinker with curiosity and a strong desire to learn.
