We're looking for a Senior Atlassian Expert to join us and lead the configuration, integration, and optimization of Atlassian tools used across multiple projects and departments. You will act as both a hands-on technical expert and a trusted advisor, ensuring system reliability, performance, and adoption — all while helping users unlock the full potential of Jira and Confluence.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end installation, configuration, and administration of Jira (Software, Service Management, and/or Work Management) and Confluence instances.
* Configure complex workflows, permission schemes, notification rules, and custom fields tailored to business needs.
* Manage user directories, groups, and permissions, including integration with identity management systems (Active Directory, SSO)
* Design and implement integrations between multiple Jira instances using synchronization tools (Exalate, Backbone, or custom APIs).
* Establish best practices for issue linking, federated search, and collaboration across distributed teams.
* Conduct health checks, performance tuning, and maintenance to ensure system scalability and reliability.
* Create dynamic Jira dashboards, filters, and advanced reporting (including JQL) to deliver actionable insights to management and teams.
* Act as the bridge between technical possibilities and business needs, translating user requirements into effective Jira and Confluence configurations.
* Lead workshops and consultations to design workflows, templates, and structures aligned with agile, ITIL, or hybrid methodologies.
* Develop and deliver tailored user training, documentation, and change management strategies to promote adoption and best practices.
Your Profile
* 8–10 years of professional experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
* Proven expertise in system configuration, integration, and governance of Atlassian environments.
* Strong understanding of ALM/DevOps concepts (Git, VSTS, CI/CD pipelines).
* Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills in English (French or German is a plus).
* Autonomous, organized, and able to manage priorities across multiple stakeholders.
