🚀 We’re hiring: System Engineer Datacenter
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer Datacenter who is ready to take ownership of critical infrastructure and help drive reliability and performance in a high-impact environment.
📍 Location: Hasselt (Avenue de l'Université)
🏢 Onsite presence: Minimum 2 days per week (remote possible on other days)
🔁 On-call duty: ± 10 weeks per year
🌐 Languages: Dutch & English
🔧 Your Role
You are a hands-on system engineer combining technical expertise with project coordination. You’ll play a key role in managing, optimizing, and professionalizing datacenter infrastructure.
📌 Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate technical projects and manage external partners
* Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications
* Organize and optimize maintenance activities to ensure continuity
* Execute and coordinate technical interventions
* Improve operational procedures and standard solutions
* Monitor project parameters: budget, planning, quality, risks & communication
* Perform in-depth analyses of: Electrical installations, HVAC systems and Security systems
* Actively contribute to datacenter reliability and performance
👤 Your Profile
* Master’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in electromechanics or industrial sciences
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a datacenter environment (mandatory)
* Proven expertise in one or more of the following: Electricity, HVAC, Fire safety, Security, Technical project management
* Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic approach
* Comfortable combining technical depth with project follow-up
* Communicative, flexible, and team-oriented
* Eager to learn and stay up to date with technological advancements
