For our Belgian activities, we are looking for our new QA/QC Manager.
The QA/QC Manager, reporting to the General Manager Operations (BE) and in collaboration with the Group Technical Departement, oversees quality control for GANTREX products manufactured by subcontractors in Belgium and abroad. Operational Quality Control
Oversee quality control of manufactured parts (internal and subcontracted) based on technical drawings
Plan and coordinate quality control activities
Perform or supervise inspections (visual, dimensional, functional) at various stages of production
Validate inspection reports and associated quality documentation (certificates, inspection reports, etc.)
Provide technical support to operational teams (Production, Purchasing, Customer Support, Sales)
Support production quality control activities as needed
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
Lead the management of non-conformities (internal and external), conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001
Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality procedures and systems
Ensure proper quality documentation management in line with applicable standards
Manage and monitor measuring equipment compliance (calibration, maintenance, documentation)
Proactively identify quality risks, particularly with suppliers, and ensure follow-up of improvement actions
Supplier Quality & Audits
Monitor supplier quality performance and participate in their regular evaluation
Quality System & Tools Management
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of quality data within the ERP system (D365)
Guarantee proper use of quality tools and associated processes
Define, monitor, and analyze quality performance indicators (KPIs)
Develop dashboards and provide regular reporting to management
Contribute to Group Quality Committees and related initiatives
Team Management & Coordination
Supervise and develop the Quality Control team (e.g. Quality Control Technician)
Promote quality awareness and best practices across operational teams
You have at least 5 years' proven experience in QA/QC management position in an industrial/mechanical environment
You have technical training as an industrial or civil engineer.
You enjoy and have a good understanding of project management, working independently.
Good knowlegdes of Dynamics 365 as ERP and technical design software (as AutoCAD, PTC Creo Parametric, SolidWorks) is a great asset
You are good at managing your time and priorities.
You speak and write fluent English and French (Dutch is an asset)
