We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Systems Architect with deep experience in manufacturing environments to design, modernise, and secure enterprise‑grade IT infrastructures.

You will work across IT, production, and business teams to deliver architectures that support operational excellence, business continuity, cybersecurity, and Industry 4.0 transformation.

This role is ideal for a senior architect who combines Microsoft ecosystem mastery with manufacturing systems knowledge (ERP, MES, SCADA, OT/IT integration

Architecture & Strategy

• Design and maintain enterprise architectures built on Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud
• Develop IT roadmaps aligned with manufacturing and Industry 4.0 goals
• Define infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices
• Lead modernisation and cloud migration programmes

Manufacturing Systems Integration

• Integrate IT systems with manufacturing operations and production environments
• Support ERP (SAP, Dynamics 365) integration with MES, SCADA, PLCs, and shop‑floor systems
• Design secure OT/IT architectures with high availability and resilience
• Ensure uptime and continuity for critical manufacturing applications

Microsoft Technology Leadership

• Architect Azure landing zones, hybrid cloud, and DR environments
• Design IAM solutions using Entra ID, Conditional Access, Zero
• Trust Implement Microsoft security stack: Defender, Sentinel, Purview, IntuneLead Microsoft 365 architecture for collaboration and endpoint management

Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and industry regulations
• Implement secure architectures for OT/IT segmentation
• Support vulnerability management, patching, and security montoring
• Participate in risk assessments and continuity planning

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, plant managers, and IT teams
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership across planning, delivery, and handover
• Mentor infrastructure engineers

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in IT infrastructure & systems arch itecture3–5+ years in manufacturing / industrial environments
• Strong expertise in:Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Hybrid CloudActive Directory / Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Microsoft SecurityExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics 365)
• Understanding of MES, SCADA, PLCs, Industrial IoT
• Experience with HA, DR, and business continuity
