Revenue & Promo Optimization Analyst Retail -BE

As Revenue & Promo Optimization Analyst for the Off-Trade (retail) channel in Belgium, you will plan and run high-impact promotions in shops and supermarkets selling our products. You’ll work closely with sales, revenue management, and finance. You’ll analyze campaign results and optimize trade investments to boost both volume and margins. You’ll use data and strategy to improve our in-store performance with key Off-Trade customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Promotion Strategy & Planning:

* Develop and manage an annual promotion calendar for the Off-Trade channel, aligned with brand priorities, customer needs, and targets.
* Define clear objectives and guardrails for promotions, ensuring commercial alignment and consistency with revenue management principles.

Promo Effectiveness & ROI:

* Lead the post-evaluation of promotional activities, measuring ROI, incrementality, and alignment with strategic objectives.
* Recommend improvements based on insights to enhance future promo performance and reduce inefficiencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

* Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Finance to plan, execute, and optimize promotions across the Off-Trade.
* Act as the key point of contact for promo strategy within the Off-Trade team, ensuring strong alignment with customer teams and supply chain planning.

Data & Insights:

* Leverage internal and external data (e.g., Nielsen, sales systems, TPM, PowerBI) to inform promotional decisions and track promotional trends.
* Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to adapt promo tactics and identify new growth opportunities.

Customer Focus:

* Work together with Key Account Managers to tailor promotional mechanics and calendars by customer, ensuring joint business planning is supported with data-led promo insights.
* Contribute to customer negotiations by providing promo insights and robust post-promo analysis.

Process Improvement & Governance:

* Drive standardization and transparency in promo planning and reporting processes.
* Ensure promo investments are tracked and reported accurately in line with budgeting cycles.

Who are you:

* You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
* Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
* Experience in retail, preferably in promo, revenue management or finance.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI.
* Strategic thinker - sharp analytical skills - clear and persuasive communication -collaborative spirit.
