ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his client a DBA SQL (F/M/X) THE CONTEXT The team is responsible for the daily management of activities across more than 1,000 databases (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). The team operates in a demanding environment and works with cutting-edge technologies such as Exadata,Azure, VMware, VMAX, VPLEX, etc. YOUR MISSION You will be working at our offices in Herstal, joining a team of 10 DBA experts (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). As a DBA, you are part of the 3rd-line support team responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our clients' MS SQL databases. You manage the installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, and troubleshooting of these databases. Your responsibilities include: Assessing situations to ensure that upgrades, modifications, and/or extensions can be carried out. Staying up to date with technological advancements and exploring new solutions. Participating in technical quotations and the architecture proposed by the SDA. YOUR PROFILE You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience You are fluent in French, and proficiency in English and/or Dutch is a strong advantage You are efficient in carrying out tasks, responsible, flexible, and able to manage projects in a structured and organized manner. You can work independently and act as an expert in your field. You have a keen eye for detail and prioritize the quality of your work. You enjoy teamwork and readily share your knowledge. You are meticulous, methodical, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Your technical skills : Strong knowledge and expertise in Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with SQL Clustering, Mirroring, and High Availability (AlwaysOn Availability Group – Failover Cluster Instance). Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS. Experience with Azure Cloud. Expertise in the installation, upgrading, patching, and migration of SQL Server databases. Knowledge of at least one other database (Oracle, MySQL, IBM DB2, etc.). Strong skills in database management, query tuning, optimization, and installations. Skills in SQL, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and Python are a plus.
