This graduate role in Toyota Motor Europe’s Production Parts Logistics Export Team focuses on managing and optimizing international supply chains under the Just-in-Time principle. You will coordinate suppliers and logistics partners, monitor operations, control costs, manage abnormalities, and drive automation initiatives. Working across European plants and global export regions, you’ll apply Toyota Production System principles to improve efficiency, flexibility, and performance while gaining hands-on experience in logistics strategy, network simulation, data analysis, and continuous improvement (kaizen). The Production Parts Logistics Division is responsible for complete Supply Chain in Europe, ensuring parts supply aligned with our core principle of Just in Time. PPLD Plans efficient & sustainable logistics in monthly cycle & executed daily operations. Job scope is collection of 600 European suppliers’ parts and deliver to each of the 4 Vehicle Plants (in UK, France, Czech & Turkey), 3 Unit Plants (UK and Poland) and Export Team is responsible for shipments of parts to Other Regions (Japan, South Africa, Asia, Brazil etc) considering best supply chain solutions. Toyota Production System (TPS) considers Logistics as the core of the supply chain to achieve Just-In-Time. The division is split into different Regional Teams for Logistics (UK, Turkey, West and Mid Europe) and Export. Your Assignment: Following are our 5 key areas Project Management: Coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are ensured Core Operations: Managing Suppliers & Logistics Providers, status monitoring & analysis Cost Management: Budget preparation & execution, monthly cost report & analysis Abnormality management: Identify issues, analyse and ensure recurrence prevention Systems & Automation: Identify tasks to automate, propose ideas, collaborate to build tools & new process. This will allow you to: Acquire a deep understanding of Just-in-Time and Toyota Production System Define strategies to achieve Toyota main Logistics Pillars, Even Pitch, minimum lead time, max efficiency and flexibility. Negotiate improvement ideas with the key stakeholders. Implement the kaizen and confirm the achievement of target. Learn logistics material and information flow Learn how new tech tools can be applied to real work To achieve this, you will need to: Learn and professionally apply Toyota cost planning & network simulation. Learn and fully understand Toyota’s Logistics network and specific operation standards to ensure application through the logistics network you are responsible for. For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships) You are fluent in English (TME’s business language) You have a bachelor’s degree You have affinity with automotive and are passionate about quality You are very highly numeric, with strong logical and analytical skills (Excel & Access).
