Job Description
The Group Quality Engineer provides general support to the all the production plants and the purchase department in stow Group around quality related topics. These include quality and process audits, implementations and creation of Group standards and investigating technical non-conformities. Apart from that the Group Quality Engineer is involved in cooperating with R&D with regards to newly developed products.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
Quality & Compliance
1. Improving and aligning quality standards in all production plants (France, Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic, Turkey) and in cooperation with key suppliers.
2. Establishing continuous improvement projects.
3. Investigate technical production non-conformities.
4. Supporting with the implementation and further development of ISO and EN.
5. Coordinate different activities between the plants and different other departments (R&D, Engineering).
6. Cooperate with the different local QHSE Managers of all production plants to raise/level the quality standards.
7. Validate suppliers and perform supplier audits.
8. Prepare and participate in different customer audits.
Documents
9. Create technical specifications and policies.
Reporting
10. Create measurement reports both conventional as by using a 3D measuring arm & scanner.
General Support
11. Travel to the different production plants, suppliers and customer sites to be able to perform the tasks as described above (30%).
12. Supporting different continuous improvement projects related to quality.
13. Supporting the purchase department when specific technical knowledge is required.
Qualifications
Your profile
14. You have a Masters or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Electromechanics,
15. You have at least 5 years of experience in a production environment of metal processing
16. You are open to work in a production environment
17. You are fluent in Dutch, French and English
18. You are a teamplayer and a good communicator
19. You are open to travel 30% per month to our different construction sites
