Are you ready to make a significant impact in risk management? As a P&C Risk Actuary, you'll play a crucial role in shaping risk strategies and collaborating with technical experts. In this dynamic environment, your actuarial expertise will drive innovation and success.
In this pivotal position, you'll focus on Non-Life Insurance risk, leveraging your strong actuarial background to optimize risk management strategies. You'll work closely with our Technical Area and Portfolio Steering teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of related risks. Your role involves quantitative analysis, model development, and interaction with senior executives to steer business decisions and enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Model Development: Develop and parameterize models for Solvency II and internal steering, ensuring effective governance and collaboration with intra-company expert teams.
* Risk Capital Calculation: Calculate Risk Capital for Non-Life Underwriting Risks using Allianz Internal Model and Standard Formula.
* Business Steering: Translate risk capital results into strategic business decisions, including product approvals and reinsurance optimization.
* Cross-Department Interaction: Collaborate with Business, Corporate Actuarial, Accounting, and Reinsurance departments.
* CAT Accumulation Management: Support and improve P&C CAT Accumulation Management and Climate Change Risk assessments.
* Reporting Contribution: Contribute to internal and external reporting, including ORSA, RSR, SFCR, and stress tests.

We are looking for a candidate with:
* A Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences, Econometrics, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field.
* Relevant experience in Non-Life actuarial or insurance risk management.
* Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
* Fluency in English, with knowledge of Dutch preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
