PpWe are looking for a curious, data-driven and analytically strong Finance Business Partner, digitally fluent and ready for the future, to join our Insight to Impact (i2i) RD team at our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. /p h3About The Role /h3 pIn this role, you will act as the Finance Business Partner for Patient Evidence Stakeholders Communities (PE SC). You will be the primary finance point of contact for your scope, working closely with senior stakeholders across PE SC and in close collaboration with another Finance Business Partner covering the area. /p pThe Insight to Impact (i2i) RD team operates as an independent and trusted sparring partner to RD leadership. We create impact by connecting insights, assessing risks and opportunities, supporting business cases including resource reallocation, and driving robust business planning and decision-making. /p h3Who You’ll Work With /h3 ul liSenior stakeholders across the various sub-teams within Patient Evidence SC. /li liThe other Finance Business Partner supporting Patient Evidence SC. /li liIntegrate (planning resource management tool) team, Resource management process improvement lead. /li liFinancial Planning Analysis, Accounting, Planning Reporting and colleagues within I2I RD. /li liTalent Partners and other cross-functional teams. /li /ul pThis role requires strong collaboration across functions and geographies. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liBuild and maintain trusted partnerships with PE SC stakeholders, combining strong business support with the ability to challenge, influence and shape decisions. /li liDevelop a deep understanding of PE SC activities, business drivers, and external partnerships, identifying opportunities for efficiency and value creation. /li liCollaborate closely with FPA to ensure clear role definition, standardized reporting, and timely, high-quality financial analysis using modern reporting tools and dashboards. /li liTake joint ownership (with FPA) of the Budget, Forecast, and Long-Term Plan processes for PE SC, including internal resource allocation. /li liLead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate accruals and compliance with IFRS. /li liLead monthly financial performance reviews, delivering forward-looking insights, trend analysis, and scenario-based perspectives. /li liDevelop, validate, and challenge business cases for new or incremental investments, applying financial modelling and data-driven insights to inform recommendations. /li liDrive dynamic resource allocation and prioritisation by leveraging data, analytics, and predictive insights to support transparent, fact-based decision-making. /li liActively contribute to the evolution of finance ways of working by adopting and promoting digital finance tools, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, insight generation, and decision support. /li liChampion culture of continuous learning, digital experimentation, and openness to change. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field. /li liSeveral years of experience in controlling or finance within an international environment. /li liStrong financial analysis and forecasting capabilities, with a solid understanding of business drivers. /li liExperience working with reporting tools, SAP (FICO modules) and strong accounting knowledge (IFRS). /li liCurious, analytical, able to connect the dots in complex settings. /li liDigitally savvy, eager to leverage new tools/technologies. /li liStrong problem-solver, calm and effective under pressure. /li liProactive and risk-aware, builds alternative scenarios. /li /ul pUCB is an equal opportunity employer.
