Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d); Director
Location: DACH region (exact location to be revealed afetr signing a NDA)
Targets of the position:
· responsible for the site sc performance (Service, Costs, Inventory,.. ) and building supply chain c capabilities.
· Plan, implement and coordinate the department’s activities, ensuring proper organization and operation, in order to contribute to the continuous
· improvement of the organization's performance.
· Manage inventory levels throughout the distribution chain, avoiding market shortages.
· Prepare and monitor production plans.
· Oversee logistics and distribution activities in compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
· Monitor and optimize internal and external logistics flows.
· Act as the interface between the Plant and the Marketing and Sales units.
· Manage product master data and plan production processes and material procurement.
· Consolidate Plant supplies to markets and coordinate bottleneck situations
· Ensure coordination with the corporate Supply Chain structure.
· Active member of the Site Management Team
Main Tasks:
Leadership & Team Management
* Functional Lead and develop a team of Logistics, Customer Service, Planning, Master Data & Labelling (100 + employees).
* Budget Responsibility for SCM department
* Ensure knowledge transfer, training, and performance management.
Supply Chain Operations
* Oversee the end-to-end supply planning process (production planning, inventory management, replenishment).
* Production & Material Planning and schedulling
* Manage Plan Inventory: Materials, WIP, Finish Goods
* Site Logistics & Distribution Platform
* Balance demand with supply capabilities, working closely with the Business divisions, Regions and manufacturing.
* Packaging artwork Management.
Standardization & Best Practices
* Drive standard operating procedures
* Ensure consistency in KPIs and reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Act as the bridge between Regions, Business divisions and global supply chain leadership.
Systems & Tools
* Lead the use of ERP / Planning systems (SAP, etc.).
* Drive automation, digitization, and process improvements.
Performance Management
* Monitor KPIs like service levels, inventory turns and production adherence.
* Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Qualification and Experience:
Experience/Education:
w Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
w +15 years in supply chain, planning, manufacturing planning or inventory roles + previous director position in a site 400-500+ FTE size
APICS/CPIM certification is a plus
Requirements / Knowledge to fulfil the position:
Technical Skills:
o ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
