Context
To support our clients based in Belgium, we are looking for a Program Management Officer.
As a Program Management Officer (PMO), you will closely support program and project managers with the following responsibilities:
* Organizing, coordinating, and following up on internal alignment meetings (such as coordination or steering committees) and external stakeholder engagements (e.g. working groups with market actors, dedicated stakeholder meetings);
* Preparing materials and documentation for meetings or stakeholder communications;
* Assisting with planning, budgeting, and active monitoring of the program’s progress, including quarterly reporting across associated projects;
* Enabling collaboration and alignment across different workstreams and expert domains to ensure cohesive progress in line with the overall timeline and objectives;
* Taking ownership of specific deliverables or coordinating defined project streams as needed;
* Managing documentation across the program, ensuring structured internal storage and facilitating publication of relevant documents externally (e.g. public consultation documents);
* Supporting ongoing improvements to program and project management practices.
Required Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent through experience;
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in PMO or project coordination roles.
* Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written. Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a must;
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail;
* Reliable, deadline-driven, and capable of managing tasks independently;
* Diplomatic and assertive, with strong interpersonal skills;
* Proactive and results-oriented, with excellent task prioritization capabilities;
* A true team player, comfortable working in collaborative project environments.
