This role in summary
As our next HR Business Partner, you’ll be our go-to person for all things HR! From executing seamless HR processes to supporting the HR manager in rolling out the People Excellence Strategy. You’ll be the first point of contact for our employees in Belgium, helping with everything from payroll coordination to employee development, and ensuring our policies and strategies are aligned with business goals.
Your responsibilities will include
* Execute end-to-end HR processes and transactions.
* Coordinate payroll administration and payments with an external service provider (SDWorx).
* Serve as the first reference point for our Belgium employees, answering their questions and offering support.
* Manage day-to-day data analysis and management, communications, and vendor management.
* Work with our recruitment team, assist with interviews, and help onboard new team members in style.
* Put HR policies into action and support strategic programs that improve organizational effectiveness.
* Work closely with Mensura to track absenteeism and ensure timely follow-ups.
* Perform audits and ensure we’re up to date with all necessary compliance measures.
* Spot opportunities to streamline and improve processes, if there’s a better way to do something, you’ll find it!
* Manage the company car fleet, help organize awesome company events, and support other general services.
* Assist with L&D initiatives to make sure our team continues to grow and develop.
* Help elevate our brand through employer branding activities.
Minimum requirements
* A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or something similar.
* Hands-on experience in payroll administration and a solid understanding of Belgian labor law.
* Experience as an HR Generalist is a plus.
* Familiarity with works councils is a bonus!
* Excellent communication skills—you're a people person at heart.
* A strong sense of organization—you're detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable.
* A problem-solver who takes initiative and stays on top of things.
* A person who values ethics, confidentiality, and maintains a high level of professionalism.
* Comfortable working independently—you're a self-starter with a confident, positive attitude.
* Experience with SuccessFactors and SDWorx is a plus.
* Proficient in Dutch, English and French.
