Shutdown Manager

About the Role
This role requires strong expertise in CCGT operations, maintenance, and project management, with a focus on HSE, cost control, schedule adherence, and quality execution. You will organize, lead, and coordinate all preparation and execution activities while ensuring continuous improvement and rigorous documentation.
About the Client
The client is a global energy company with a strong presence in power generation and energy transition projects. The shutdown will be executed in a context of intense maintenance, modification, and project activity, emphasizing safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Define and validate HSE objectives for the shutdown with the Steering Committee (COPIL)
* Implement HSE organization, procedures, and audits specific to the shutdown
* Ensure dissemination and application of HSE rules among contractors and teams
* Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared safety and operational objectives
* Participate in safety audits during the shutdown and implement corrective actions
* Define preparation organization principles and obtain COPIL validation
* Prepare and lead shutdown COPIL meetings; draft and distribute minutes
* Set up multidisciplinary preparation teams, define actions, monitor progress, and ensure consistency
* Organize and lead work definition meetings; critically review work requests and validate completion
Qualifications
* Engineering degree / Master’s degree with +5 years higher education
* Advanced operational experience in CCGT – Combined Cycle Gas Turbine
* Several years of experience in Maintenance, Operations, or Project Management roles in industry
* Experienced project manager in industrial settings
* Strong analytical mindset, rigor, organizational skills, initiative, communication, and teamwork
* Fluent in French and English (reading, writing, speaking)
