Job Title: SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) Functional Consultant Contract Type: Contract

I am supporting a company in Belgium who are looking for a an experienced SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) Functional Consultant to deliver implementation and support across core SAP HCM modules. The role involves end-to-end project participation, requirements analysis, documentation, and ensuring effective data migration. Strong functional expertise, clear communication, and a structured approach to delivery are essential. Exposure to S/4HANA and H4S4 is considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, implement, and support SAP HCM modules, including Organisational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management, and Payroll.
Contribute to multiple SAP HCM initiatives, including at least two full lifecycle implementations and ongoing support engagements.
Work collaboratively within a mixed onshore/offshore delivery environment alongside technical and business stakeholders.
Produce high-quality project documentation such as configuration documents, functional specifications, user guides, and test scripts.
Gather and analyse business requirements, translate them into functional solutions, and oversee their successful delivery.
Support and execute data migration activities using appropriate SAP tools and methodologies.
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues and improve HR business processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience with SAP HCM, covering both implementation and support.
Strong functional knowledge across OM, PA, Time Management, and Payroll.
Proven experience supporting data migration activities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on documentation.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing project environment.
Familiarity with S/4HANA and H4S4 capabilities is nice to have
