Hartmann Young is proud to partner with a global leader in Point-of-Care Diagnostics, a rapidly expanding organisation with an international footprint. We’re seeking a Key Account Manager to drive growth and enhance market presence across Belgium and Luxembourg. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of developing the core laboratory, POCT, and immunohematology portfolio, accelerating market access, and building strong, lasting partnerships with healthcare customers.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic plans to capture new customers and grow existing accounts.
* Manage the full sales cycle, from tender management to contract negotiation and closing.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Laboratory Specialists, Field Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Care teams.
* Build trusted relationships with hospital and private laboratory stakeholders, including purchasing and administration teams.
* Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
Requirements:
* BA Degree (or equivalent experience) in a scientific or healthcare-related field (e.g. Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Medicine, Medical Technology, Diagnostics).
* Ideally 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or product support within diagnostics or a similar technical/clinical environment.
* A true hunter mindset - goal-driven, proactive, and resilient.
* Strong background in diagnostics or core lab environments, with proven sales success.
* Solid tender management experience.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills; confident dealing with demanding customers.
* High degree of initiative, independence, and problem-solving ability.
* Fluent in French with strong English; Dutch is a plus.
* Willingness to travel within the region.
