JOB DESCRIPTION: The scope of our mission is to reinforce a team as a right-hand Project Associate to ensure the daily safety and risk prevention processes in a chemical environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and minimizing industrial risks. The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include: Support projects by facilitating communication and progress Organize regular safety and chemical-risk training for staff. Educate employees on protocols, accident prevention and emergency management. Ensure continuous training on new technologies. Ensure persona protective equipment are supplied to all employees and visitors. Coordinate the revision and implementation of internal safety procedures. Ensure implementation of corrective actions after audits and incidents. Communicate regularly with management on safety, health and environment issues. Write monthly reports on site safety and risks. Participate in safety committee meetings and present improvements for risk management. Coordinate with competent authorities in case of environmental incident, leak or non-compliance. Propose improvements to processes to minimize identified risks. Support projects with rational, data-driven assessments (cost, quality, timeline) Audit the site regularly to identify-equipment risks. Establish and update sterilization-specific risk analyses (chemical, biological, fire, explosion). Assess environmental risks with focus on preventing fugitive gas emissions. Monitor legislative and regulatory updates and standards compliance (Code du bien-être, ISO). Verify condition of PPE and recommend improvements or replacements. Participate in internal and external audits and prepare audit reports. Analyze accidents, near-misses, non-conformities and determine root causes. Support projects through high-quality, detail-oriented execution Implement emergency protocols. Implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain and perform checks on safety equipment. Implement site safety measures and follow-up operational safety tasks. The experience we are actively looking for: Minimum 5 years of experience in safety and risk prevention, preferably in pharmaceutical, chemical, or biomedical industries. A Level 1 Safety Advisor certificate (Conseiller en Prévention Niveau 1) Experience in risk assessments, safety audits, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Familiarity with belgian HSE regulations. Proven ability to train and guide employees on safety practices and emergency procedures. An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start).
