Scientific Content Specialist

Develop high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content aligned with our brand and communication goals. Collaborate closely with our scientific, technical, and communications teams to ensure consistency across channels. Translate scientific and technical information into clear, concise, and compelling content. Manage our social media presence by developing and executing strategies to increase engagement, reach, and awareness. Apply SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and ensure content visibility across digital platforms. Maintain and update the content calendar in line with our communications strategy and ongoing activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Develop engaging and technically accurate content across various platforms, including our website, social media channels, newsletters, reports, and internal communications.
2. Writing & Editing: Draft, edit, proofread, and support the design of communication materials such as reports, blogs, infographics, brochures, and presentations.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with our scientific, technical, and communications teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across channels.
4. Science Communication: Translate scientific and technical information into clear, concise, and compelling content tailored to diverse audiences.
5. Social Media: Manage our social media presence by developing and executing strategies to increase engagement, reach, and awareness.
6. SEO & Digital Strategy: Apply SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and ensure content visibility across digital platforms.
7. Content Planning: Maintain and update the content calendar in line with our communications strategy and ongoing activities.
8. Event Support: Assist in the promotion and communication of our webinars and events, and help coordinate related content.
9. Monitoring & Analytics: Track content performance, analyze metrics, and provide insights to improve engagement and impact.
10. Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about digital marketing and communication trends to continuously enhance content quality and strategy.
Requirements:
You hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or another related field. You show an interest in the field of science. You are a great collaborator with excellent listening and interpersonal skills. You are flexible and dynamic team player with an open attitude. You are comfortable using tools such as MS Office Suite, MailChimp, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Pro, PowerPoint, and social media platforms, or eager to learn. You bring strong digital skills and an interest in science communication and digital marketing. You have the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging communication for diverse audiences. You possess a solid understanding of publishing principles, including publication design, layout, and editing. You are familiar with production methodologies for both print and digital publishing, and have hands-on experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). You speak and write English fluently. A native English speaker is preferred.
