Financial Business Partner – Proximus Group
Mission / Purpose: You drive and coordinate the end-to-end controlling activities (business controlling, cost controlling, financial reporting), with focus on the Proximus full Radio Access Network area. You contribute to ensure the consistency of the financial targets with the strategy of the company. You challenge operational plans to ensure their adherence with the financial targets.
Key Responsibility Areas
* You drive and coordinate end-to-end a controlling function (business controlling, cost controlling, financial reporting), ensuring consistency with the other functions.
* You drive the definition the yearly controlling roadmap & ensure through the year the correct prioritization to enable the execution of the roadmap.
* In collaboration with the NDP controller, you drive the build up of the year budget, the forecasts exercises (iterations) and the 3Y Plan.
* You support, in close collaboration with the accounting department, the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You proactively identify variances vs. financial targets and recommend corrective course of action to senior management.
* You drive the definition of management & operational reporting and dashboards: end-to-end process, KPIs definition and implementation, proactive review and monitoring.
* You participate as financial experts in strategic & transversal projects launched by the Management, the Finance Dept /or Operational Departments; projects that you assess financially through relevant business cases. You ensure compliance with regulatory policies and accounting standards.
* Major interactions: You mainly interact with Mwingz at every level of the organization (Executive Management to employee) and with Proximus Finance and Demand Teams.
Your Profile
* You have obtained a university degree (or similar further to experience) and have worked minimum 8 to 10 years in a similar environment.
* You have a deep knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, planning & controlling.
* You master the tools and methodologies for process analysis.
* You understand complex situations and transversal implications within the organisation.
* You have developed analytical skills, you are pragmatic and results oriented, and you have developed a helicopter view.
Financial Skills
* You have a strong understanding & vision in Finance.
* You understand the telecom operators business and operational processes.
* You understand and demonstrate knowledge of best practice approaches within controlling.
* You are able to translate operational drivers into financial KPI’s.
IT Skills
* You have a good understanding & vision on Financial Systems.
* You have know-how on accounting tools (ERP systems, reporting systems,…).
* You master reporting techniques (i.e. dashboard, reports, trends, graphs, etc.).
Soft And Interpersonal Skills
* You fluently speak and write Dutch or French, and English.

You will work in the Finance & Support department, reporting to the Finance & Support Director of MWingz. You have 3 another Financial Business Partner colleagues (Orange, Mwingz & NDP), and no direct reports. It concerns an “Expert” level in the MWingz job grading framework.
