What you’ll do As an Expert Machine Learning Engineer you will develop, deploy and optimise advanced machine learning models, experimenting with the latest approaches to deliver best‑in‑class solutions. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Cloud Architects and Data Strategists to execute projects across diverse industries with a comprehensive, quality‑driven, end‑to‑end approach. In addition, you will mentor peers, share expertise and stay abreast of field advancements, ensuring continuous growth for yourself and the team. Qualifications & Experience Master’s or Doctorate in a quantitative field, with mastery in Machine Learning. 4+ years of industry experience in machine learning and big data. In-depth understanding of software design principles. Strong theoretical grounding and practical expertise in general machine learning and deep learning. Strong skills in Python & SQL. Knowledge of an additional programming language is an advantage. Proven track record in deploying ML models and deep expertise in MLOps. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect or Dagster. Solid grasp of cloud‑ & data engineering. Proven experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure or GCP. GenAI familiarity is a big advantage. Excited to work with large datasets and tackle problems pragmatically. Excellent communication skills to translate complex solutions into clear client deliverables. Fluency in English; speaking Dutch orFrench fluently is a very big advantage.
