Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Banquet Manager at Hotel El Convento & Hotel Palacio Provincial, located in Old San Juan. The Banquet Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction by managing event logistics, coordinating food and beverage services, handling client inquiries, and supervising staff performance. Additionally, the Banquet Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships and guiding staff
Knowledge and experience in food and beverage services, including event planning and delivery
Proven experience in hiring and training team members to ensure quality and efficiency
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus
Industry experience in banquet or event management is preferred
