You will be joining the dynamic and talented Transversal test team within YPTO's Business Area "Commercial Channels & Products." This team plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our commercial channels and product offerings, driving innovation, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The Business Area "Commercial Channels & Products" is the IT partner of SNCB-NMBS's Directorate for Marketing & Sales. This directorate manages all sales channels (front-end as well as back-end) and aftersales solutions of NMBS[1]SNCB. These include NMBS-SNCB's website, mobile app, cashdesk, ticket vending machines, sales on board and the B2B sales channels.
Position Summary
As a Functional Analyst you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality of our customer-facing applications through efficient and reliable functional testing. You will design, implement, and maintain functional test scripts with a strong focus on front[1]end UI testing using Xray. Working in a dynamic Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and testers to ensure early detection of issues, seamless delivery, and a great end-user experience.
Your Responsibilities
* Design, create, and maintain front-end functional test scripts using Xray in Jira
* Convert high-level functional analyses into detailed test scripts
* Define and maintain test plans, regression test sets, and test data
* Log, report, and track defects and incidents using Jira and Xray
* Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, 3 Amigos, retrospectives)
* Set up, maintain, and plan regression test sets for continuous validation
* Ensure test coverage meets both quality standards and business requirements
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices
* Document and share best practices using Confluence, Xray, and Jira
* Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
Job Requirements
Required Hard Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field
* 7+ years of proven experience in functional testing of front-end applications
* 5+ years of demonstrable experience in test planning, maintenance, and regression testing
* Strong knowledge (5+ years) of Jira, Xray, and Confluence for test management
* Experience in functional testing within Agile teams (5+ years)
* Automation experience is a strong plus
* ISTQB Foundation certified (or willing to obtain soon)
