Tasks and responsibilities:
You will help manage and execute projects within the AI Launch Program. Typical projects include:
* Supporting business teams (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Back Office, warehouse admin) in setting up and running AI pilots
* Coordinating the rollout of new AI tools (e.g. copilots, automations) across sites and teams
* Organising AI-related activities such as awareness sessions, trainings, and innovation bootcamps
As Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Initiating AI-related projects
* Clarifying objectives, scope and expected business outcomes
* Identifying key stakeholders (IT/Data, business owners, HR/L&D, site management)
* Documenting the problem statement and success criteria together with the business owner
Developing and monitoring a project plan
* Building realistic timelines for pilots, rollouts and training waves
* Coordinating tasks across central functions and local sites
* Managing dependencies (e.g. data availability, tooling, peak seasons)
Supporting the business case and tracking benefits
* Helping to estimate potential impact (e.g. time saved, error reduction, service level improvement)
* Tracking basic costs (licenses, training time, set-up effort)
* Following up on pilot KPIs and summarising results
Coordinating project teams
* Assembling small cross-functional teams (operations, support functions, IT/Data, AI champions)
* Ensuring tasks are completed on time and with the agreed quality
* Preparing and following up on project meetings and workshops
Monitoring and reporting progress
* Maintaining action logs, risk/issue lists and status reports for each pilot or workstream
* Preparing clear, concise updates for the AI Program Lead, project sponsors and Steering Committee
* Escalating risks or blockers in a timely and structured way
Supporting AI awareness and innovation activities
* Helping organise AI trainings, demos and communication (in coordination with HR/L&D and Comms)
* Coordinating the AI Innovation Bootcamp and other ideation activities (collecting ideas, preparing materials, following up actions)
* Supporting the AI Champions network (regular calls, sharing templates, gathering feedback)
Delivering project results
* Ensuring that agreed deliverables (pilot outcomes, documentation, process changes) are produced
* Supporting the handover of successful pilots into “business as usual” (SOPs, ownership, KPIs)
Profile:
We are looking for a junior project manager with a strong interest in logistics and digital/AI innovation, who enjoys working with different teams and turning ideas into concrete actions.
* You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Business, IT, Logistics Management, or similar)
* Around 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a project, operations, or consulting role
* You are interested in AI and digital tools and are motivated to learn how they can improve processes (no deep technical AI expertise required)
* You have strong analytical skills and can structure problems, plans and reports clearly
* You are eager to learn and open to developing yourself in project management and AI-related topics
* You are a team player who can also work independently and take ownership of your tasks
* You are well-organised, follow up on actions and keep stakeholders informed
* You are flexible and willing to travel between different sites when needed
* You are determined and persistent, and you can keep momentum in projects even when things get complex
* You speak Dutch and English fluently and have a good command of Spanish
